Wonderful Penguin Photographs by David Tipling
David Tipling is one of the world’s most widely published wildlife photographers and is renowned for his artistic images of birds. The photographer had to camp in freezing Antarctic weather to take such beautiful shots. Enjoy these lovely pics of penguins.
Wintry weather may not be a problem for these beauties but it was a challenge for David to take photos of their daily life out there in Antarctica. Penguins are very unique animals. The birds, for example, might intend to take chicks from other parents because of loss of theirs. If we talk about babies, penguin chicks are probably the cutest thing you could ever imagine. Though it also takes lots of effort to take care of them. In some photographs you see little penguins standing on parent’s feet or huddling together in order to keep warmer. The eggs are also a good booty for other animals. Fortunately penguins are pretty defensive birds. In other shots you can see them travelling and breeding. It is not easy to travel such distances for penguins with those puny feet of theirs, you know! You can now see that it is not that boring everyday in Antarctica for the wonderful penguins.
“My latest book is a visual celebration of a group of birds that have given me more pleasure to observe and photograph than any other,” says David.
