Natural Rock Formation Shaped like Breaking Ocean Wave
This natural rock formation shaped like a tall breaking ocean wave should definitely go to the bucket list of every inveterate surfer. It looks extraordinary and I can bet that the majority of surfers would love to take a photo with their surfboard on this rock.
This rock formation is called Wave Rock and is located in Western Australia. The “wave” is about 14 m (46 ft) high and around 110 m (360 ft) long. It forms the north side of a solitary hill, which is known as “Hyden Rock.” This hill, which is a granite inselberg, lies about 3 km (2 mi) east of the small town of Hyden.
I’m not a surfer, but, as I know, Australia is one of the most iconic destinations for surfers. So, if you will be in Australia, don’t forget to visit the “Wave Rock”.
