Frozen Path to the Amazing Lake Superior Ice Caves
It is not something you can see everyday or every winter. Actually only this year Lake Superior has frozen thick enough. Photographers were not able to see this beauty since 2009 as it wasn’t safe to travel there. The location of the spectacular icicles are the ice caves at the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. It’s an attractive place for its visitors, because it is not a piece of cake to reach it. It is believed that ice will keep for over a month more, so if you are planning to see the ice caves in real, then you should really get on moving. This winter is exclusively cold and you might not get a chance to go there next year!
